This level 2 course in Common Health Conditions covers a variety of health conditions including dementia, stroke, sensory loss, arthritis, and Parkinson’s disease. It’s a great way to increase your understanding of these conditions and help you to monitor the health of people affected by them.

What will I learn?

This course is made up of six units:

  • How to Contribute to Monitoring the health of Individuals Affected by Health Conditions

  • Introductory Awareness of Sensory Loss

  • Stroke Awareness

  • Dementia Awareness

  • Arthritis Awareness

  • Parkinson’s Disease Awareness

Eligibility

This course is government funded, you must meet the following criteria to be able to study for free:

  • You must currently live in England    

  • You must have been resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than study    

  • You must be over the age of 19   

  • You must not already be on another government funded education programme

  • You must not have already studied another similar course

  • Funding is limited in certain areas (register to check)

How will I learn?
