  • Can I complete more than one course?
You can complete one 'fully funded' course at any one time, however once completed you can enrol onto a new course if funding is available. You can complete up to 7 courses a year!
  • Are the courses really free?
Yes the courses are fully funded through the Government's Adult Education Budget so there is no cost for completing a course as long as you meet the eligibility criteria. Funding can be limited for certain courses in certain areas. If there is no funding you will be advised during the pre-check and offered a chance to pay for the course if you wish.
  • Are the courses accredited?
Yes all courses are accredited and recognised throughout the UK.
  • Can I still complete a course if I already hold a higher qualification?
Yes - as long as the qualification you hold is not in a similar subject area to the course that you want to complete.
  • Do I need any previous qualifications to enrol?
No - there are no pre-requisites to completing one of the courses unless you are aged 19-23. If you are aged 19-23 you need to already hold a L2 qualification.
  • How can I enrol?
You can register and enrol directly through our website. Enrolment can take 15-20 minutes to complete online and you will need to upload proof of ID so funding can be drawn down.
  • How will I complete the course?
Upon enrolment, you'll gain instant access to your online learning materials and assessments via an online platform. Our courses are structured to provide you with fundamental knowledge in your selected subject area through engaging eLearning content. After going through the learning materials, you'll have the opportunity to respond to your assessment questions and submit your answers for evaluation by your tutor.
  • Do I have to take an exam?
No there are no exams. You will be assessed through a series of assessment questions as you work through the course.
  • How will I be assessed?
Throughout your studies, you'll undergo assessment via a series of questions integrated into the course. Your responses are automatically saved, allowing for revision before submission to your Tutor for marking and feedback.
  • What happens if I do not pass an assessment?
Should you not pass an assessment, there's no need for concern. Following marking by your Tutor, you'll receive an email prompting you to log into the system. Your Tutor will have identified areas requiring further attention for you to pass. You'll then have the opportunity to re-attempt and re-submit the questions that were initially unsuccessful.
  • When will I receive my certificate?
Your certificate will be processed within a timeframe of eight to twelve weeks. Upon completion of the course and submission of your final work, your assessments will undergo marking and an external quality assurance procedure. Once this process concludes, your certificate will be promptly dispatched to you.
